Often recognized as the mother of American Modernism, O’Keeffe work spread through abstract, close up flowers, NewYork skyline and landscapes of New Mexico. The hand refers to the many portraits of O’Keeffe by photographer and husband Stieglitz.

Some activists, some early pioneers, some simply demanding to be recognized for their work. But according to me, all feminists despite rejection of the term.
